Assistant to the CEO
Description Position at DNEG

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented Assistant to provide high-
level administrative support to the CEO. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring
efficiency and effectiveness by managing calendars, communications, and a variety of key
projects. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic problem-solver with excellent communication
skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. This is an on-
site role requiring regular in-person presence at the office and the CEO’s residence. The
position also demands flexibility to accommodate early morning, evening and weekend work
when needed. 

Key Responsibilities

Calendar Management: Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, ensuring all commitments are met with precision.Communication Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between internal/external stakeholders. Manage phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.Meeting Coordination: Organize, prepare for, and attend meetings, includingdrafting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.Document Management: Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents. Ensure that critical files are organized and accessible.Project Management: Assist with special projects, manage deadlines, and support the execution of company initiatives.Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.Travel Coordination: Arrange travel logistics including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries.Event Planning: Manage breakfast/lunch/dinner meetings/events at the CEO's residence, ensuring seamless execution.Flexible Work Hours: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate schedule and commitments.Additional Administrative Support: Perform various ad hoc tasks as required. Key RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in a senior administration role, preferably in entertainment, post-production, or mediaStrong understanding of studio workflows, post-production processes, and industry deal structuresExceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitaskAbility to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to liaise with high-
profile clients and executivesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other productivity toolsAbility to work independently and resolve challenges as they ariseExceptional discretion, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive informationFlexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and last-minute requests

 

 

The base salary range for this full-time position is $46,000 to $56,000 USD. DNEG salary ranges are determined by function, department, level, and location. An individual's pay within a given range is determined by their transferrable or job-related skills and work experience. Salary ranges are modified from time to time based on external market data collected through our third-party surveys.
