The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Trading Company Assistant Manager. Candidates with a passion for excellence, expertise in hospitality operations and proven leadership experience are invited to apply for a career with Four Seasons. As a member of the Food and Beverage and Retail team, the Manager works across disciplines to deliver an exceptional experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead and direct all staff in the execution of the tasks and service associated with the daily operation of the Retail and Food & Beverage, so as to promote operational efficiency and guest service at the highest possible standard.
Responsibilities will include skills mastery training, new staff training, and general direction for staff. On the floor the assistant manager is responsible for ensuring a healthy flow in F&B, that retail is being consistently attended to, and that the warehouse has the support that is necessary.
Work with the Assistant Director of F&B and Management Team towards facilitating staff empowerment, creating learning initiatives and growth opportunities for all retail staff.
Effectively communicate and coordinate operational activities with key relationships in all retail outlets.
Promote a warm and friendly atmosphere among staff and guests.
Oversee and facilitate a biannual inventory of store product
WHAT TO BRING
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.
Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the team.
