For additional information, visit our company homepage Rotech.com Overview and Responsibilities Summary We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Trainer to join our team within our Field Division. Responsible for training and overseeing new hire personnel, monitoring performance and providing feedback to management on areas of opportunities, successes and failures for each new hire. Provides constructive feedback and develop plans for immediate and long-term performance improvements. Completes all tasks given by the Department Supervisor and/or Manager. Communicate company-wide changes and roll-outs to appropriate divisions, leaders and employees, while promoting and influencing adoption Conduct post-training evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the training program, including determining whether employees have applied the new skills in their work environment Deliver customer service training programs to groups of up to 15 participants both in person and virtually Develop, deliver, lead or co-facilitate training programs to new hire field employees designed to improve employee performance Establishes training objectives and designs training programs to address them, using a variety of instructional methods including classroom instruction, field instruction, computer-based instruction and hands-on practice Evaluate the results of training programs to assess whether objectives were met and whether additional training is needed Keep trainees on task, respond to questions in a timely and professional manner and identify training gaps while providing timely resolution to ensure minimal impact on employee satisfaction Plan, organize and conduct training sessions for field employees, including in-service training for existing employees and new hire orientation for new hires Prepare reports to summarize the results of training program and provide status updates to key stakeholders Research training ‘best practices’ and advise as to the most effective approach to program design, presentation and implementation Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Employment is contingent on Background investigation (company-wide) Drug screen (when applicable for the position) Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position) Required Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent, required Preferred Education and/or Experience Experience in the healthcare industry preferred Must be able to type on a computer One to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environment is preferred One to three years of supervisory experience is preferred Skills and Competencies Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written Interpret a variety of communications (verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual) Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information Multi-task along with attention to detail Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills Work independently and as part of a team Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities Email transmission and communication Internet navigation and research Microsoft applications; Outlook, Word and Excel Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer and/or tablet Physical Demands Lift and carry office equipment at times Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork Rotech Information Benefits Generous paid time Off and paid holidays Overtime pay for non-exempt hourly positions based on business needs Commission for Account Executives Fixed and variable rate car reimbursement for Area Managers and Account Executives Employee discount program Employee recognition program Bonus and incentive opportunities Mileage reimbursement (when applicable for the position) Telephone reimbursement (when applicable for the position) EAP 401k Medical, Prescription, Dental and Vision HSA and FSA/Dependent Care FSA Life Insurance, Disability, Accidental death, Identity protection and Legal services Meru Health Mental health and Mercer SmartConnect Medicare programs Livongo Diabetes and High Blood Pressure programs Healthcare Bluebook and RX Savings solutions programs HEPB and TB vaccinations Make the Right Move and Submit your Resume Today!
