Assistant Treasurer
Job Description The Assistant Treasurer assists in the management of treasury activities including the allocation of cash balances, maintaining investment records, preparing expense, earnings and cash forecasts, issuance of letters of credit and foreign exchange management. This role oversees financial transactions including the issuance of debt and negotiation of credit agreements and analyses proposed capital structure alternatives and monitors stock buyback program. Oversees the activities associated with risk management and the management of pension/401k plans. Ensures policies and procedures meet corporate objectives and needs, and regulatory requirements. Acts as a corporate liaison in conducting business with outside financial institutions. Leads project teams to complete complex transactions. Performs other duties as assigned. These projects include complex financial and legal issues as well as the need to engage a team of professionals in a focused, time sensitive effort. • The ability to work on complex time sensitive projects, get results, identify issues and resolve them, focus on a team who does not report to you. Analyze complex financial issues Education and/or Experience • Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Professional accounting, banking, treasury, or financial analysis experienced required • Strong financial, management, human relations, and communication skills • MBA preferred Benefits at AutoZone AutoZone cares about people.
