C.H. Robinson is currently seeking an Assistant Treasurer to be a change and thought leader with oversight of the global corporate treasury strategy and treasury operations, including international cash management, cash flow optimization, capital allocation strategy, risk management, managing liquidity and bank relationships. In this role you will analyze cash operations and banking fees to identify and implement opportunities to lower costs and improve compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to serve as representative on Treasury related technology projects, ensuring implementation of functionality that improves global cash flow visibility and efficiency. This leadership position reports to the Vice President, Treasurer, Corporate Development & Insurance Risk Management and works collaboratively within Treasury and various finance and business stakeholders.  This role is responsible for leading a small team of direct reports.

Responsibilities:Lead and manage day-to-day liquidity needs across the globeMaintain and utilize rolling cash flow forecast to make investing/borrowing recommendationsAnalyze global cash and banking structure to identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency and lower costsIdentify, influence, and implement opportunities to make existing processes more efficient and enable new capabilitiesAnalyze cash flow variances to improve forecasting reliability and liquidity planningDevelops and oversees FX risk management, hedge effectiveness and FX tradingAssisting with the final stages of implementation for the Treasury Management System (Kyriba) and identify improvements as neededStrategically utilize Kyriba to identify additional opportunities to increase efficiency and lower costs around the globeIdentify and lead large, global strategic projects and partner with cross functional teamsOversees debt and interest exposures, investing activities as well as intercompany settlements and funding processesResponsible for capital allocation strategy (dividends, share repurchase, subsidiary capital contributions)Reviews/approves quarterly financial reporting (10K-10Q), supervise quarterly treasury reporting and valuation mattersEnsure compliance with all treasury policies, SOX controls and regulatory requirementsMaintain and manage bank relationships and collaborate with them to leverage as an extension of Treasury teamCollaborate with regional finance leadership to implement practices and policies that better leverage our global scaleIdentify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practicesStay abreast of changes in the Treasury landscape and establish and implement new processes and technologies where appropriateCultivate a high performing team by building skills through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training and development

Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university10+ years’ experience in global treasury in a complex, multinational environment with global cash management5+ years’ supervisory/management experience; proven success developing talentUp to 15% domestic or international travel

Compensation Range

$129,900.00 - $216,000.00
