You will join the team in the National Underwriting Centre (NUC) in delivering a high quality service to our underwriters and brokers whilst practicing and developing technical capability and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.

This is a key role created to support the A&H team in line with Chubb’s ambitious growth plans across the UKI and Mid-Market Practice. The role is to assist in the underwriting of new and renewal A&H business consisting of UKI

You will support the A&H team in delivering a high-quality service to our underwriters and brokers whilst developing technical and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the underwriting and processing of new and renewable A&H business in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits and business plan. Assist in the migration of Business from Branch to the National Underwriting Centre To work in conjunction with the team ensure efficient working practices are in place and adhered to as per established package underwriting guidelines Support the underwriting team through liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers and internal stakeholders To meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business and compliance issues. To work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company  Experience in the insurance market is required You will need to demonstrate a practical and common sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframesMinimum A level standard.Competent in Microsoft Office.Expected to undertake “on the job” training. This may involve working in other Chubb offices
