Principal responsibilities
Influencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesDriving project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risksReporting progress, issues, dependencies and risks to project or programme leadership and committees (as appropriate) and making recommendations to influence decision making, in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisationDriving the adoption of HSBC project standards and working in alignment with HSBC project methodology at all timesDesigning and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organisation alignment).Identifying and mitigating key change and implementation risks and helping identify opportunities for early realisation of benefits.Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change ‘product', focusing on accelerating benefits and minimising risk during deployment.Work with Change Delivery colleagues and business stakeholders to ensure robust documentation of MI change requirements.Contribute to the creation of project documentation (business cases, project requirements, project plans) and reporting and operating modelsgovernance structures.Management of the core test phases including SIT and UAT and ensuring test scripts/test plans and test strategies are in place.Some careers have more impact than others.
