WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Full Time** Assistant Vice President - Enclosures for our **New York, NY office.** Your Impact + Work will include vertical enclosures and roofing design consulting including design and design review, specifications, design detailing, forensic investigation, and building enclosure commissioning, FISP condition assessment and repair design of roofing and vertical building enclosures + Candidate will be expected to manage teams of multiple staff on multiple projects at the same time, offer technical guidance, coordinate the appropriate technical leads for the project and be the primary point of contact for the client. + The candidate will manage and guide project teams in completing FISP inspections and design, building enclosure design reviews, providing building enclosure consulting, review roofing systems and waterproofing as a technical reviewer and completing on site forensic investigations and functional performance testing of enclosure systems. They will also be required to perform much of this work. Who You Are **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or closely related discipline. + 10+ years of relevant post education experience in discipline with prior enclosures, façade design, and sustainability experience. + 5 to 7 + years of experience in Building Enclosures / Construction /Architecture and NYC FISP or related field, minimum. + RA/ PE in the state of NY and QEWI in NYC, or on a path to QEWI + 3 + years as a person directly involved in the design, construction, fabrication and/or inspection of various horizontal and vertical enclosures systems. + 3 + years as a person directly involved with managing building enclosure projects. + Experience and quality control and management. + Growing knowledge in all manners of building construction. + Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external professional and industry groups. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. + Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. + Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. + Talent and passion for improving the built environment is the essence of meeting our clients’ objectives, goals, and challenges.
