Assistant Vice Provost for Enrollment Management for Professionally oriented Graduate Programs

Reporting to the Vice Provost for Enrollment Management (VPEM), the Assistant Vice Provost for Professionally oriented Graduate Programs (PGPs) is responsible for advancing an innovative and strategic vision for PGP enrollment growth and success at Virginia Tech. This position provides transformative leadership to develop and implement university-wide enrollment strategies for PGPs, aligning with Virginia Tech’s institutional mission and workforce development goals, particularly in the Greater Washington, D.C. metro area.

The Assistant Vice Provost collaborates with academic leaders, including the vice president and executive director of the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, deans, department heads, vice provosts and other senior leaders to advance PGP enrollment and high-quality professionally oriented graduate programs and credentials. Building on this initial focus, the assistant vice provost oversees a cross-institutional team with a focus on faculty support, program development, market analyses, enrollment management, recruitment, marketing, and admissions processing.
