Assistant Warehouse Manager
This position supports group/plant objectives and is accountable for determining and implementing cost effective and time efficient procedures to move inbound materials and outbound finished products through the production cycle to meet customer demands. Execute cycle counting as required by internal functions including raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods. Maintain records and reports for all counting documents. Ensure all finished goods movements are accurately accounted for daily. Ensure up-to-date training documents are maintained for the continuous operation of all SAP functions dealing with the proper inventory. Ensure all warehouse transactions are being done efficiently and accurately, while meeting company objectives. Partner with logistics department to ensure proper delivery of interplant shipments. Ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded through proficient distribution operations that maximize workflow efficiency between warehouse, customer service, and scheduling to meet/exceed all shipping objectives on a competitive cost basis. -Select, deploy, coach, train, develop and support supervisory and individual contributors in all areas of responsibility to maximize performances and build the best high-performance organization possible.- Regular and ongoing collaboration with plant staff to fine-tune performances to create policies and practices (consistent with group/company objectives) that satisfy/exceed quality, service, and cost objectives. Participate with plant management to define culture, promote labor relations, and improve communication systems and policies that support the overall growth and direction of the plant. Always support a safe working environment in the areas of responsibility. Correct or report unsafe acts or condition through appropriate channels of resolution. Perform safety audits, accident investigations, complete required paperwork and perform necessary follow-up as required. Collaborate/participate with group management to develop and support company initiatives that enhance CertainTeed growth and profitability. Essential Functions: + Inventory Control + Manage Order Fulfillment Process (Production Scheduler and Warehouse) + Management of Subordinates + Adherence to Safety + Corporate Objectives **Requirements:** Education + Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics Required License/ Certification + Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; SPC; Kaizen; Root Cause Analysis (Preferred) + OSHA Certification 30 Hour (Preferred) Work Experience + 5+ Years of Manufacturing/ Warehouse (Required) + 5+ Supervisory Experience (Required) + 2-5 Years of Customer Service (Preferred) Certain locations require pay information be provided in job postings. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is **10%** of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is **$87,400** to **$135,800** . Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
