About the Web Merchandising Team
The Web Merchandising team is a key function in the Direct to Consumer (DTC) organization that collaborates cross-functionally to help Rejuvenation continue to create an immersive, E-commerce-first experience for our consumers. The team drives site merchandising strategy and execution for all categories, collaborating with marketing to drive site implementation of the creative and content strategy, website design, consumer experience strategy and optimization as well as with the operations team.
Overview of the Assistant Website Merchandiser role
As an Assistant Website Merchandiser, you will have the opportunity to execute the site strategy for the website while working closely with cross-functional partners across the brand.
This is a hybrid role - 4 days/week onsite in our Portland office required.
Responsibilities
Review and execute eCommerce Merchandising goals and strategies to achieve sales and gross margin goals Implement integration and merchandising of key product areas throughout the website Perform regular site tests as well as audits to ensure the correct presentation and product accuracy in key areas Partner with Inventory and Merchandising to execute seasonal deliverables Maintain the web product presentation throughout the product lifecycle Recommend enhancements to site merchandising features and capabilities Review catalog photography to determine if additional assets are needed Perform and maintain competitive website analysis, keep abreast of market trends and eCommerce trends to support the short and long-term strategies Support Site Operations, Site Merchandising, and Site Marketing teams with special projects, as neededCriteria
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or related field preferred 1-year+ previous E-commerce or retail experience Visual display or website merchandising experience preferred Strong affinity for the product and brand Ability to interpret and utilize data to optimize product pages, understand sales, and improve customer experience Familiarity with data management, content management systems (CMS), and/or retail analysis experience preferred Understanding of basic marketing principles to increase product visibility and traffic Ability to deal with ambiguity, fast pace and a changing environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams Experience creating PowerPoint presentations Intermediate Excel skills (working knowledge with pivot tables and v-lookups) Ability to perform work onsite in the Portland office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.Our Mission Around Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
