We are hiring an Assisted Living Director at First Colonial Inn. The Assisted Living Director manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.
What will I do every day?
Complete accurate and regular resident assessmentsDetermine the appropriate level of careMaintain all resident information, files, and reportsSupervise and administer all resident medicationsMaintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirementsCoordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providersManage Assisted Living budget and expensesForecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing Conduct departmental planning and forecastingHire and train care team associates Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
What will I need to be successful in this role?
Three to five years of supervisory experienceBS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fieldsExperience in working with seniorsResident Care Director experience / Director of Nursing experience preferred
Special Requirements/Certifications:
Licensed as LVN/LPN requiredCPR CertifiedFirst Aid CertifiedUniversal Precautions trained
