Assoc Digital Producer

The Associate Digital Producer is responsible for production of digital promotional content. They will assist in preparing and scheduling all promotional events, offers, and product content and data on Belk.com. They also play a role in ensuring correct content is created to support promotional strategy through testing and applying quality standards.

• Produces content across multiple digital platforms, reviewing planned content against quality standards

• Works with internal business stakeholders to provide guidance on technical capabilities and limitations to create a consistent customer experience

• Coordinates product content elements, including rebates, sizing guides, etc.

• Collaborates with Merchant, Content Strategy and Design teams to schedule and prepare HTML files with image links, assortment links, alt tags and tracking / reporting tags for all promotions to upload and configure into the Content Management System

• Creates promotional landing pages to support discount offers, coupons, special offers, free shipping promotions and other promotional vehicles as designed by the business users

• Supports content scheduling needs for all groups that utilize belk.com and Belk App for posting content

• Coordinates efforts of cross-functional teams to ensure website promotional and product content supports the current business calendar of events and promotions

• Produces documentation and training guides on Production procedures as necessary to support cross-training of new team members and contractors during peak volume periods

• Assists in ensuring the integrity of online systems and information through implementation and maintenance of established system management practices, processes and controls

• Partners with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure all scheduled content is tested each week for accuracy and timeliness

• Assists in ensuring all promotional content is designed and executed correctly to appropriate specifications

• Performs diagnosis of root cause for all documented testing problems, communicates required design updates, and fixes production errors as appropriate

• Able to be on call 24/7 for any live site issues including weekends and evenings

• Acts as liaison between eCommerce business and IT support teams for any site issues

Education / Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education

• 1-3 years of related experience

• Experience operating successfully in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Education & Experience:

Knowledge / Skills Requirements:

• Competent in: Microsoft Office, Web Text Editor, Scene 7, Adobe Creative Suite

• Understanding of online retail, marketing trends, design concepts within the digital space, responsive and adaptive concepts

• Understanding of core website concepts such as CSS and HTML

• Ability to read and manipulate sets of data using spreadsheets

• Strong communications skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong relationship management skills

• Ability to develop standards and procedures to support web/digital content publishing, and manages any associated copyright or other legal issues

• Understand the range of publishing options available and advises on specification and procurement, taking account of the key costs and benefits of different channels and applying objective measures of effectiveness
