Summary

This position is responsible for adding value to the organization by coordinating and managing the relationship with industry partners. The overarching goals for this role are to increase long-term revenue as well as enhance the performance of the organization in its execution of deliverables and materialization of the value proposition to our partners and utilize discretion and independent judgment to implement successful industry-academic business relationships. The person in this role will create synergy between two groups and enable the partnership to be on the same goals. The Associate Director, Alliance Management responsibility includes engaging internal and partner leaders at all levels to maximally leverage assigned collaborations for both the company and its partners. This person will lead the efforts to maintain the well being of the partnership and keep participants goal oriented.

 

Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
• Capable of entering and maintaining data in a database
• Able to generate and interpret reports summarizing the performance statuses of projects and teams
(both internal and external)

Minimum Experience Required

7 years (project coordination, clinical development, product commercialization, project management or program management) with 2 of those years in a supervisory role -or in lieu of bachelor's degree and associate degree plus an additional 2 years' experience for a total of 9 years' experience (project coordination, clinical development, product commercialization, project management or program management) with 2 of those years in a supervisory role may be considered

Education

Bachelor's Degree life sciences, drug development, business or related field of study.
