What is the opportunity?
To support business development and client relationship management activities in Germany & Austria, focusing on working with the Institutional team based in Munich.
What will you do?
Supporting the business development team in managing the relationship with institutional clients, and in sales and marketing activities.Coordinating presentation material for client and consultant-led pitches and client reviews, working with RBC BlueBay’s Presentations team and Institutional Portfolio Managers.Dealing with client/prospect information requests, guided by the responsible sales/client relations person as needed.Helping prepare for or hosting calls and meetings for due diligence, review or servicing purposes.Supporting the onboarding of segregated mandates, transitions and mandate changes, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth and timely execution of contracts and agreements.Maintaining and leveraging off the firm’s Management Information System (currently SalesForce) to ensure the effective implementation of regional relationship and servicing processes and tracking of activity with the overall aim to increase efficiency.Working collaboratively with colleagues in all related functions incl. investment teams, RfP and marketing departments to build strong internal relationships to effectively support the regional business development activities and contribute to further growth of the local client base.Helping prepare and coordinate sponsoring events in Germany and Austria.Personally, reinforcing excellence across RBC BlueBay’s stated cultural values and standards both inside the firm and as a representative of RBC BlueBay in the market.Developing a deep understanding of client needs and objectives.Building and maintaining knowledge of the regulatory environment for specific client segments and product structures.Continually building and deepening knowledge of RBC BlueBay’s products across traditional and alternative asset classes. Keeping abreast of market developments.What do you need to succeed?
Must have
Good understanding of financial markets and products. Experience within the asset management industry preferred.Technologically literateExcellent command of spoken and written English.Sets high standards of performance for self and strives to meet challenging objectives.
