Members of the Investment Banking group at Stout are actively involved in the day-to-day transaction execution of middle-market mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and special situation mandates for private equity and privately owned business clients.

As a member of the Business Services group, you will be responsible for supporting business development and the successful execution of advisory transactions across a wide range of business services sub sectors. Sector focus areas include commercial services, specialty distribution, engineering and consulting, environmental services, and professional service.

Responsibilities:

Preparation, analysis, and explanation of historical and projected financial information for clients and prospectsDevelop detailed financial models (e.g., three statement operating models)Coordinate and perform business due diligence on clients and prospectsIdentify potential strategic and financial buyers for sell-side transactions, and possible lenders for capital raisesPrepare confidential information memorandums, management presentations, pitch books and other presentationsConduct comprehensive valuation exercises of companies and business unitsBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, buyers, lenders, and other stakeholdersSupervise and mentor junior staff members assigned to deal teams

Requirements:

4+ years of middle market sell-side investment banking experienceExceptional academic credentials from a top-tier universityHighly proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, & PowerPointAbility to think critically and must possess excellent written and oral communications skills  Strong transaction process orientationHighly proficient financial analysis and modeling skills with an emphasis on attention to detailSelf-starter willing to work in an entrepreneurial, demanding, and fast-paced environmentAbility to work collaboratively as part of intimate deal teams

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $160,000 depending on prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills.
