About the role:
We are building and scaling the largest resident-centric ecosystem of experiences to make finding, renting and living in an apartment a delight. With the largest network of apartments in the world, you’ll have access to the products and experiences that will define this evolution.
We are seeking a motivated Product Marketer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns and event-based user journeys that drive adoption, engagement and monetization of our consumer products as well as awareness of and preference for Greystar brand. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand market needs, craft compelling messaging, and execute go-to-market plans that drive outcomes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
What You Will Do:
Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics.
Product Positioning: Collaborate with product managers and brand team to develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates our offerings.
Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and execute product launches and marketing campaigns in coordination with product management, sales, brand, and other stakeholders.
Content Creation: Partner with the Greystar brand team, copywriters and designers to develop compelling email, SMS, and in-app marketing strategies that support business objectives.
Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns, using data to develop testing strategies for further improvement.
Customer Insights: Gather and interpret customer feedback to refine marketing approaches and contribute to product development.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, brand managers, designers, and developers, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with product development.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of experience in product marketing, preferably within the real estate or technology sectors.
Marketing Skills: Strong understanding of marketing principles and experience with various marketing channels and tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting compelling messages.
Analytical Abilities: Proficiency in analyzing market trends and campaign performance metrics.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools with the ability to implement marketing emails, SMS, and in-app content.
Team Player: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Overall Qualifications:
Experience with product marketing strategies, journeys and tools.
Knowledge of the rental housing market and real estate industry is a plus!
Proficiency in graphic design tools or content management systems.
Opinionated, with a passion for product marketing, user engagement, tracking, and an obsession with learning and optimizing.
Forward thinking, with a passion for technology and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest technology trends and developments, particularly around AI.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience managing expectations and priorities across multiple teams
