The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Position Summary:

Trader on the Convertible Bonds Trading Desk.  Will be responsible for market making, hedging, client runs management, valuation analysis, trade executions & settlement, running p/l, and other trading responsibilities.  This person will work with other traders in the group and will help to build our credit franchise. 

Responsibilities:

Provide backup support to the senior Convertible Bonds trader on the desk, on an as needed basis.Provide active markets for clientsGenerate trade and market ideas internally to be conveyed to clients in order to generate PNL opportunities for the desk as well as build on existing client connectivityAssist with monitoring both credit and interest rate risk for individual books and among the desk as a whole. Help to ensure the desk meets all compliance procedures and is appropriately aligned with our market view.Generate daily reports to be sent firm wide, including: PNL, End of Day Recaps, Trade Volume reports, etc.Adapt quickly to changing priorities on the desk as the franchise expands and deliver ad-hoc solutions when necessary

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degreeAt least 1 year prior sell-side Convertible Bonds trading experienceExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsResults driven, with a strong sense of accountabilityStrong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgmentA pro-active, motivated approach

The typical base pay range for this role is between $150K - $170K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
