Associate, CRP Compliance & Audit Analyst (Hybrid Remote)

Under the guidance of the Office of Ethics, Compliance, and Audit Services leadership, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Compliance and Audit program. Your efforts will ensure adherence to standard operating procedures, corporate policies, industry standards, and applicable federal and state laws across various UPMC locations. This position will be based out of the US Steel Tower in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will have the potential to work from home with a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week at home and 2 days per week in office. Why Join Us? If you're passionate about compliance, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a leading healthcare organization, we encourage you to apply! **Responsibilities:** + Assist in establishing and maintaining policies, procedures, and tools to support compliance activities across the Department and the Organization Assist others with creation of guidance, recommendations, and best practices to assigned entity or organizational areas, as assigned by management. Assist with investigations and special projects, as assigned Assist with training on compliance topics Assists with collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for reports + Extract and compile data for analysis. Help to enhance and maintain internal and external websites. Perform chart reviews to assess compliance with various regulations and best practices, as assigned Research, compile and interpret state and federal regulatory and industry guidance, as well as internal data, for purposes of analysis, as assigned + Support departmental efforts to create educational and training materials related to specific compliance topics. Support entity level compliance and privacy matters, as assigned Support compliance teams across the department with work such as Compliance Helpline (hotline), Exit Interviews, Investigations, Auditing and Monitoring, Conflict of Interest related matters, and other miscellaneous compliance and audit projects as assigned. + Support ongoing departmental goals Assist leadership on special projects, as assigned. Assist with investigations, as assigned Effectively communicate and support the values of UPMC to employees at all levels of the organization. + Ability to acquire an understanding of healthcare or other complex or regulated environments Ability to maintain confidentiality Time management skills, and ability to manage competing timelines and projects Communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills Reports, audits, workpapers, and investigations are completed on time and accurate. + Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned. Travel to other UPMC work locations, as needed. + Bachelor's degree in a Compliance, Legal, Healthcare, Health Information, Finance, Audit, or other related Healthcare or Business degree OR + Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and one year of compliance, legal, regulatory, financial, audit, or business experience, preferably in a health care setting OR + Associate degree or comparable technical school diploma/degree and three years of compliance, legal, regulatory, financial, audit, or business experience, preferably in a health care setting OR + Enrollment in or completion of Graduate level degree and completion of relevant Internship or Externship + Familiar with Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Act 34 **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
