Description:
The Dimensions Associate (DWA) is responsible for the perpetual maintenance of any new and current product’s dimensions. The DWA will ensure produce will have correct dimensions prior to the waving process to guarantee SLA’s will be met. Regular communication within DC Operations, customer service and the Corporate Office is required.
· Monitor the SKU’s With No Volume report keep report cleared by the end of each shift.
· Partner with inbound to recall product lacking dimensions.
· Work with wave planning to adjust dimensions for specific customers.
· Diagnose dimension issue and provide solutions.
· Maintain Cubing Validation report and update discrepancies found on PKMS. Develop reporting to identify issues.
· Address various stations throughout the DC where cubing issues may arise and report.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
· Two (2) years warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides required knowledge, skills and abilities.
· High School diploma or GED required; higher education a plus.
· English written and spoken a must.
Skills:
· Intermediate level of efficiency in Excel required.
· Knowledge of warehouse systems such as WMS and or PKMS.
· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both written and verbal.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Follow through with all tasks, assignments and job duties in a timely manner.
· Strong time management skills/multitasking.
· Primary product knowledge.
· Strong attention to detail is required.
Special Requirements:
· Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours including weekends as necessary.
· Bend, lift, open, and move product up to 50 lbs.
Warehouse Environment: Must be physically capable of working in conditions normally associated with a merchandise warehouse or distribution center, such as, but not limited to, warm and cold temperatures, seeing and hearing moving equipment to stay out of harms way, and continuous power equipment noise.
