What is the Opportunity?
The Global Investment Banking division is looking to add an Associate to the Business Management team, based in New York City.
What will you do?
· Conduct market share competitive analysis of industry sectors, markets and products and other ad-hoc analytics
· On-going lead and for various ad-hoc strategic initiatives and internal management meetings
· Prepare and interpret strategic & financial reports that combine all aspects of the business, including Client Profiling, Banker Productivity, Competitive Analytics, Missed Deals, Creation of weekly, monthly, yearly management reporting
· Assist with annual budgeting and planning process
· Help with technology and reporting projects, including automation of pipeline revenue reporting
· Aid in managing content for Investment Banking leadership strategy sessions
· Enforce audit/compliance matters
· Act as a point person for Investment Banking with functional partners (HR, Finance, Communications, Compliance)
What do you need to succeed?
· BS in Finance/Accounting or related fields
· 3-4 years of experience in a financial institution
· Must be advanced with Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point, Dealogic, Acrobat, etc.
· Project management mind-set and approach
· Knowledge of Investment Banking product set preferred (ECM, DCM, M&A Lev Fin)
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
· Comfort and confidence interacting with Senior Leaders and management
· Extremely detail oriented and analytical
· Excellent problem solving skills
· Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills
· Team player

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $115,000 - $150,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
