Associate - Investments - Brookfield Infrastructure Structured Solutions (BISS) 

Job Description 

Based in New York, Brookfield is seeking an Associate candidate to support the origination, execution and management of investments within the Brookfield Infrastructure Group. The individual will sit within BISS, a new strategy which seeks to invest in infrastructure and renewable power across the middle market. This is an opportunity to be one of the early team members of a fast-growing strategy within a premier investment management franchise.  

Key Accountabilities  

Performing due diligence including comprehensive valuation analysis  

Developing and reviewing detailed financial models 

Conducting asset, corporate and industry research  

Preparation of presentation materials and analysis for the fund’s investment committees and third parties  

Sourcing and screening for new investment opportunities  

Portfolio management of both new and existing investments  

Interacting with management teams and fund investors  

Contribute to a dynamic, team-oriented working culture  

Assist in fundraising workstreams  

Assessing legal risks and conducting legal documentation review  

Candidate Profile  

Demonstrated track record of excellence in academic, professional and personal contexts  

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Investment Banking or comparable experience  

Preferably, experience in infrastructure equity investing  

Strong excel skills and complex modelling ability  

Excellent writing and communication skills  

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to learn quickly  

Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment  

Strong interpersonal skills and team-oriented approach  

Self-motivated individual focused on building a business for long-term growth
