Associate, QC Support, Cell Therapy role within the Lab Support team is responsible for supporting the general function of the Quality Control labs through material delivery, gowning restocking, vendor escort, and equipment preventative maintenance and other equipment-related activities. Additionally, this role may assist with investigations, document revision and ownership, change control ownership, training and review associated with role, and continuous improvement efforts. Education & Related Work Experience Requirements: + Bachelor's degree preferred in science. Associates degree with equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered. + 0-2+ years of relevant laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in a regulated environment. + Demonstrated experience with basic laboratory techniques and basic laboratory safety practices. Key Job Responsibilities: + Collaborate with QC laboratories, Site Engineering, Facility Services, and other departments for executing lab and equipment support activities. + Perform routine activities such as preventive maintenance for non-complex equipment and instruments. Support vendor activities for equipment PMs. + May schedule, facilitate and participate in performing the validation, calibration, maintenance, repairs of QC laboratory equipment, whether performed internally or by vendors. + Maintain electronic equipment database, equipment records and logs, equipment status metrics, and apply equipment status labels in accordance with GMP requirements and written procedures. + May review basic GMP documentation, including vendor executed validation documents for GDocP adherence. + Perform routine lab housekeeping and lab maintenance activities, such as equipment cleaning, restocking supplies, solution preparation, etc. + Support document revision, project, CAPA and deviation/ investigation related tasks and/ or continuous improvement efforts. + May train others on general job duties. Key Job Competencies: + Ability to accurately and completely understand, follow, interpret and apply Global Regulatory and cGMP requirements. + Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management regarding task completion, roadblocks, and needs. + Attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, meet deadlines, and prioritize work. Working Conditions: + While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; bend; stretch; use hands and fingers, with various manipulations; reach with hands and arms; and effectively communicate with others in the workplace, including the ability to make and promptly respond to audible cues and warnings. + Work in areas that may have strong magnets. + May work in areas with exposure to vapor phase liquid nitrogen. + Must have ability to work assigned shift (Day, Night, Weekends and/or holidays). + Will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily. This may include, but not limited to: safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hairnets, gloves, and hearing protection. + Required to work in and around laboratories and controlled, enclosed, restricted areas, included clean rooms. + Required to carry and/or lift up to 40 pounds several times a day The starting compensation for this job is a range from $65,000 to $82,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
