Associate, Senior Client Relationship Management

To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com (https://www.cibc.com/en/about-cibc.html) **What You’ll Be Doing** Reporting to the Vice Chair, Capital Markets, based in New York, the Associate will support the development and execution of detailed coverage plans of a select group of institutional and corporate clients identified by Senior Capital Markets Management (“Target Clients”). The coverage model will serve to enhance collaboration across the platform for identifying and covering these Target Clients. The goal is to strengthen these Target Client relationships and further evolve them into sustainable long-term material revenue contributors with multiple touchpoints across the platform. This effort is intended to be a proof of concept and precursor to the formal establishment of a US Senior Client Relationship Management Office (SRMO). The Associate will be involved in the development of the SRMO. The Associate will assist in confirming and/or establishing comprehensive coverage teams for each Target Client and help coordinate client visits to discuss our Bank’s capabilities and identify opportunities for deeper engagement. Additionally, the Associate will track and measure relationship progress, contributing to quarterly internal meetings to discuss advancements and opportunities related to each Targeted Client. The Associate will engage in a detailed mapping of each Target Client, supporting the development of a business intelligence strategy, and assisting in the creation of ongoing reporting functions as well as ad hoc analysis and project support to enhance client coverage. Once a detailed client mapping has been established, the Associate will help identify opportunities to further benefit the Target Client relationship, manage coordination of Target Client visits and coordinate collaboration with relevant Lines of Business to develop materials for presentation to Target Clients. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview. **How You’ll Succeed** **Project Management and Maintenance** + Assist in managing the Target Client list. + Help establish metrics for adding or exiting Target Clients and measuring relationship success. + Track coverage models of Target Clients. + Document Target Client coverage teams and establish processes for tracking and reporting on Target Client activity. + Coordinate regular Target Client reviews among stakeholders. + Utilize data analytics to develop presentation materials and coordinate Target Client visits and follow-ups. **Analytics & Reporting** + In coordination with the Vice Chair, Capital Markets, act as a point of contact for key stakeholders in tracking activity with Target Clients, + Support the development of ad hoc analyses to measure the success of evolving Target Client relationships and the overall effectiveness of the Target Client coverage. + Generate and share data-driven insights with various audiences. + Contribute to the development of value-add ideas regarding the effectiveness of Target client engagement. + Assist in supporting key initiatives to enhance Target Client coverage + Identify and propose new product and service capabilities for consideration by relevant businesses and Strategy & Corporate Development and assist in the execution of development of such capabilities. + Help produce ongoing value-add reporting related to Target Client trends. **Business Intelligence** + Provide actionable insights to inform broader strategies for adding Target Clients. + Assist in defining measurement strategies to quantify the performance of the Target Client coverage model, including increasing target client revenue and product use. + Collaborate with teams to build insightful reports and dashboards for key stakeholders. + Help visualize and communicate analyses to the business. **Who You Are** + You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. + **You're digitally savvy.** You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of USD$100,000 to USD$130,000 for the New York, NY market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
