What is the opportunity?

In this position, you will be a key member of the Investor Services Strategy team and will partner with a broad variety of stakeholders to help develop, articulate, and execute on RBC Investor Services’ strategy. You will work with a team to deliver analysis and relevant insights to support executive decision-making. You will play an active role in identifying, analyzing, and addressing strategic opportunities for RBC Investor Services.

What will you do?

Analyze and synthesize data from internal and external sources (including industry periodicals, press releases, etc.) to draft strategic reportsLeverage storytelling and communication skills to prepare presentations and reporting for senior managementAnalyze asset servicing industry themes, competitive positioning, market attractiveness, competitor profiles and performance resultsWork with a team to support the Senior Management Team of RBC Investor Services on ad-hoc strategic requests and recurring business management deliverablesWork closely with IS’ partners (such as Sales, Finance, Technology & Operations, and Product) in support of strategic objectivesUtilize financial data to develop insights towards strategic planning

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Undergraduate degree4+ years’ experience in consulting, business strategy, financial planning & analysis, research, or similar rolesKnowledge of the financial services industry (nice-to-have: asset servicing industry)Analytical mindset and familiarity with financial data and metricsStrong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and OutlookExperience preparing materials and presentations for executive audiencesStrong professional collaboration skills with the ability to effectively communicateCurious approach with the ability to learn quicklyAbility to effectively manage competing timelines and priorities for multiple teams
