Techstars Web3 is opening up the opportunity for one individual to work alongside the investment team and the incoming 2025 class of founders, during the upcoming 13-week accelerator program (March-June).
As Associate, you will play a critical role in shaping the success of the incoming class of founders as they grow and develop from early stage to venture-backed startups. The experience provides for a huge exposure to some of the best up-and-coming startups in the category. You will work alongside some incredible humans from all over the globe, as well as the investment team itself. From entrepreneurs, to investors, to mentors, this is an opportunity to also broaden your network in ways you could never imagine. Historically, a lot of associates end up being employed by one of the teams or by someone they met during the span of the three months. Many also go on to build their own companies.
Commitment
This is a contractor role and it is mostly remote because while there are three meet-ups -Dublin (March), London (April), New York (June)-, the program runs remotely for 10 out of 13 weeks.
The ideal candidate will be based in Dublin or New York as this is where hands-on-deck are most needed.
Duties and functionalities include
Program-facing - providing for the optimim founder experience, alongside the investment team
Operations - help run the show; from curating and facilitating mentor meetings, events and program content, to helping the team think through tactical decisions. Social media - help build the profile of the program & it’s companies. Investor Relations - help to connect founders with the right investors.Startup-facing - serving the founders asap with requiring a high degree of autonomy
Fundraising - investor pipeline, data room & fundraising materials.
Experience
Demonstrated interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, venture capital, etc.Note - Web3 knowledge/experience isn't essential Notable achievements within marketing, communities, fundraising, events. 1-3 years in fast-paced project or program management focused position (startup background preferred but not required). Proven attention to detail through prior work or life experience. Comfortable with a variety of responsibilities, with a minimal amount of direction but high expectations. Familiarity with startup tools (e.g. Notion, Airtable, Hubspot, Google Suite etc.)
