**Associate, Warehouse** Position Profile Responsible for performing various duties within a given department in the warehouse. The position requires the ability to complete assigned tasks and meet productivity and/or quality standards within allotted timeframes. Adheres to OSHA regulations in performing work tasks. Job Duties and Responsibilities + Jobs can include shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading trucks. + Responsible for the safe operation and use of any material handling or dock equipment, e.g., pallet jacks. + Ensures all paperwork is completed and properly processed. + May be required to use non-powered material handling equipment (training may be required). + Efficiently completes all activities assigned by the warehouse supervisor or team lead. + Maintains a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed at all times. + Must have the ability to learn various warehouse functions and processes. + Adheres to all OSHA requirements (training will be provided). + Handles equipment valued up to $150,000. + Works as part of a team that must have coordinated work efforts to complete department and overall operational goals. + Meets appropriate productivity/quality standards relative to job responsibilities as outlined by the manager. + Required to work at a rapid pace to meet work deadlines. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Typically Required: + Warehouse experience is a plus but not required. + Must have adequate reading and math skills and the ability to write legibly. + Must be physically able to perform assigned tasks, including walking, standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods and the ability to lift from 50 to 100 pounds. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Must have the ability to listen to directions, manage time, and complete all work as assigned within the established timeline. + Must be a team player and able to interact with fellow workers. Working Conditions, Mental, and Physical Demands + Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise levels. + Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instructions; prepare, provide, and convey diversified information. + Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases and assorted equipment weighing from 50 to 100 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds. + Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
