Associate, Warehouse Wholesale & Export
POSITION PROFILE
Responsible for the receiving, stocking, and shipping of used office equipment. Reports to a Warehouse Manager or Supervisor I.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Unloads all incoming freight.
· Documents relevant inventory and marketing information of all receipts.
· Stocks inventory in appropriate bin location
· Assists in physical inventory.
· Pulls and prepares sales orders for shipment.
· Builds second deck in ocean going containers.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Typically Required:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to drive forklifts and other equipment.
· 1 year of warehouse or related experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, And Abilities· Ability to work in a confined space handling heavy equipment on a consistent basis.
· Basic computer knowledge
Working Conditions, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Typically, a warehouse environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level
· Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data and instruction · prepare, provide and convey diversified information.
· Working conditions regularly expose individuals to conditions that could result in minor cuts and burns.
· There is frequent exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.
· Physical effort is required in the lifting of tool cases, and assorted equipment weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as the ability to move objects on wheels that may weigh up to 700 pounds.
· Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling are required to service equipment at floor level.
