What is the Opportunity?
The RBC Dominion Securities Inc. (“RBC DS”) Branch located in mid-town Toronto is looking for an Associate to join the Ascendant Wealth Partners team. You will provide quality service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to the Investment Advisors and their staff.
What will you do?
Coordinate and prepare meeting materials for Investment Advisors with their clients/prospectsProvide proactive service to Investment Advisors with a focus on problem resolution and attention to details. Liaise with various departments for execution, where necessaryHelp support Investment Advisors responding to client inquiries (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.)Assist with client onboarding, portfolio monitoring and tradingHelp manage incoming communications from clients, Investment Advisors, and other internal and external partnersEnsure accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation and materials in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirementsHelp update the team’s communication channels: websites, LinkedIn, brochures, newslettersProvide support to Associate Advisors and Associate Portfolio ManagersWhat do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Undergraduate Business DegreeGood understanding of fundamental accounting and finance conceptsKeen interest in capital markets and investingExceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skillsStrong attention to detail and organization skillsGood written and oral communicationDemonstrated skills in providing service that will come across as professional, warm and friendlyPlans to obtain CFA or CIM designationNice to Have
