Within Advisory, PwC has a large team (GovTech) that focus on transformation in Government through
Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and
bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and
effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire
project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Broad Role / Responsibilities
Broad role typically entails our resources to adopt problem solving approach to solve important client
problems and extend support in monitoring / managing large projects, involving following
responsibilities:
 Conceptualisation of projects for clients
 Identification of problem areas / concerns; exploration of optimal ways to tackle these
 Define IT solutions to address the client requirements
 Ensure professional documentation in timely manner (both client level & internal)
 Client stakeholder management
 Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools  
 Track project milestones and deliverables, prepare project dashboard
 Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, devise contingency plans
 Build, develop, and grow business relationships vital to the success of the project
 Prepare “lessons learned” documentation for projects / engagements
 Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

Broad Experience & Expertise Requirements
Proposed role requires a candidate with relevant experience working with Central and/or State
Governments, or at least 1 projects of more than 1 year duration in Government consulting involving -
1. Transformative Governance through Citizen Centric Service Delivery
2. Assist in evaluation and implementation and monitoring of Central and State specific schemes
3. Assist in saturation of above schemes and suggest course corrections
4. Assist in implementation of reforms
5. Activity engage with key decision makers in formulating specific implementation plans,
policies, programmes
6. Public Transport related capacity building initiatives and monitoring support
Specific Past Work Experience Requirements
 2 to 5 years of experience

 Experience of working with Central and/or State Governments is preferred
Educational Qualifications
 Graduation: BE / BTech, or equivalent
 Post-Graduation: MBA or equivalent (Tier I Universities/Colleges) only.
Personality traits (a must)
 Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
 Ability to handle complex assignment independently
 Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
 Ability to interact with clients (senior government officials)
 Demonstrating willingness to ‘get hands dirty’ and developing a problem-solving attitude
 Strong personal and professional presence and self-confidence, capable of working effectively with
senior team as well as all other levels.
