Description Job Title: Associate Attorney – Litigation Location: Galveston, Texas Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our dynamic legal team in Galveston, Texas. This role involves providing high-quality legal representation and client advocacy while delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to work independently while managing caseloads effectively. As an Associate Attorney, you will be responsible for analyzing liability and damages, formulating case strategies, engaging in client communication, and taking necessary steps to achieve favorable outcomes. Training to take depositions and try cases will be provided to support your professional growth. Key Responsibilities: + Represent clients in litigation matters with professionalism and attention to detail. + Conduct legal analysis of liability, damages, and case strategy. + Communicate with clients to explain case progress, next steps, and potential outcomes. + Independently manage and advance cases while meeting deadlines. + Prepare legal documents, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with team members. + Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials (training will be provided). Requirements Qualifications: + Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. + Texas Bar license in good standing. + 1-3 years of experience in litigation. + Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills. + Self-motivated with solid negotiation abilities. + Capable of working autonomously while also collaborating with a team. Preferred Skills: + Exceptional client interaction and relationship management abilities. + Interest in trial and deposition training. + Proficiency in legal research tools and case management technology.
