Job Summary

The Associated Account Manager assists the Account Executive/Manager or Producer and other department personnel by processing work associated with insurance clients, such as issuing certificates of insurance, rating, data entry, renewal preparation and other tasks by performing the following duties.

What You'll Do

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.

Client SupportManages a book of business Maintains accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries.Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.  RecognizesAccount CoordinatorProcesses change requests, follows up with carriers as needed, reviews endorsements for accuracy send document to InsuredL&P Bond Issuance & Inquiries Sets up Notice of Cancellations and Reinstatements activities. Processes final cancellations.Process final audits and sends to insured.Issues New and Renewal certificates of insurance and evidences of property as neededHandles direct bill inquiries Prepares policy binders, renewals, proposals, and other documents for delivery to insured. Rates lines of coverage online as needed. Updates driver, equipment and vehicle schedule and makes MVR requests if required. Other duties as assigned.Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.Account ManagementMaintains a book of business with proper records according to company procedures.  Ensures accuracy of account information for both new and renewal policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy in rating, coverage, signatures, and enters these transactions to generate billing invoices in a timely manner. Reviews all premium audits according to Agency procedures recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.   Reviews accounts receivable report for all assigned accounts to support client retention.Transacts Agency Billed policies Other duties as assigned Insurance ExpertiseLeverages technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion; Reviews quotes for gaps and assists with inquiries from the carrier.Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
