Associate Accountant
Accounts Receivable team is a fast-paced, process-driven environment, responsible for multiple facets of the Accounts Receivable function. The Accounts Receivable Representative will be responsible for ensuring invoices are accurate issued in a timely and efficient manner. They will research problems and resolve standard disputes in order to ensure important deadlines are met. **Responsibilities:** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: + Follows standard operating procedures to ensure compliance + Executes daily general ledger accounting operations inside Oracle and proprietary software environments + Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis + Executes fixed assets addition/transfer/write-offs, bank reconciliation, tax declaration and tax filings + Keeps records of account entries by compiling and archiving accounting activities + Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff + Assists with the preparation of reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents that project the organization's financial position + Supports the coordination of financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance + Supports and executes internal controls and statutory requirements + Assists with external audit requests + Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements + **QUALIFICATIONS** + Required: + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs + Can use English as working language (written) + Preferred: + 1-2 years of working GL experience, shared service center is preferred + Experience with Oracle Financials Cloud and other cloud-based Oracle solutions or similar ERP platforms + Strong communication & interpersonal skills + Accountability to protect organization's value by keeping information confidential + Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills + Ability to work well within a team + Values a diverse and inclusive work environment **Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer** C.H.
