This role is an exciting chance to join our newly launched travel media network, Kinective Media℠ by United Airlines. At Kinective Media, we believe in creating meaningful connections between travelers and brands through utilizing our award-winning loyalty program, MileagePlus. By leveraging insights from travel behaviors of over 165 million annual United flyers, Kinective Media connects customers to personalized, real-time advertising, content, experiences and offers from leading brands. We provide marketers with unparalleled opportunities to engage with their target audiences across various channels, including our award-winning mobile app and Inflight entertainment screens and more, pre, during, and post journey.

As an Associate Account Executive, you will leverage your digital media expertise and consultative selling approach to develop, present and execute best-in class omnichannel marketing campaigns that exceed expectations and drive positive business results for some the world’s most recognized brands. Working holistically across the US advertising community of agencies, brands, and buy-side platforms, you will act as a strategic partner, generate sales opportunities, and drive adoption of a broad range of advertising solutions, such as out of home, digital video, integrated content and custom experiential marketing products. Your status as a trusted internal partner and strategic advisor, amplified by your knowledge of the digital media industry, will help establish key relationships with decision makers, and allow you to successfully navigate complex organization hierarchies to unlock new revenue and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:Assist in identifying new business opportunities and building foundational relationships with key agency and client contacts under the guidance of senior management.Work towards achieving individual sales targets by collaborating with senior management to retain and expand client relationships, aiming for high client satisfaction.Maintain a working knowledge of the ad industry and programmatic landscape to support clients with basic omnichannel media planning, measurement, and data strategy needs.Leverage data to provide initial insights and collaborate with senior management to develop multi-pronged solutions that address client challenges and support business goals.Present Kinective Media’s value proposition effectively to clients, with support from senior team members, to build client enthusiasm and generate leads.Participate in account growth planning, working closely with senior internal stakeholders and clients to support product adoption and incremental revenue opportunities.Provide responsive client support by assisting in troubleshooting and addressing client issues, working alongside more experienced team members to resolve any challenges effectively.

The salary for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule. Bonus eligible: yes

NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement with scheduled days to be worked at our New York City office. Approximately 10% travel.

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Communications OR equivalent experience1-3 years of outside digital media/ad tech sales experience and client-facing partner management, with 5+ years of total relevant experienceExperience building new customer relationshipsExperience closing sales and generating revenueConsultative selling skillsInitial track record of building and managing a cross-channel, multi-million dollar advertising businessInitial understanding of ad industry challenges, measurement and identity-based marketing solutionsSome knowledge of programmatic landscape, video and cross-channelAbility to interface with clients and cultivate relationshipsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentInitial track record of executing successful collaborations across internal and external teams, with the purpose of achieving either client or internal business goalsCreative storyteller with the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makersSome experience working with agency leadership to establish partnership plans and grow business/ demandInitial experience working with cross-functional teams on go-to-market opportunities (sales, product, marketing, measurement)Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship
