Job Summary: The AEM Developer will be responsible for working on AEM and related Integration platform projects development via following through the entire life cycle in collaboration with partner’s team. This role will be also responsible to work with team of developer’s under the guidance of technical lead to deliver the requirements. This role will also be responsible for supporting existing implementation via enhancements and bug fixes.
In addition to strong technical knowledge of the AEM and integrated platform this position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with various business stack holders and partners. Work will be managed with supervision of lead and encouraged to take initiative on ideas, best practices etc...
Role / Responsibilities:
+ Develop technical approaches designed by technical lead/architect to achieve business requirements, documents and peer review with development team .
+ Ensures the delivery and success of AEM enterprise-level integration and development involving third party client side integration including request/response flow
+ Participates in gathering of AEM technical and functional requirements from business teams during discovery phase and share your expertise with tech lead/architects to translate it into AEM UI solution and document it
+ Should be hands on AEM features and functionality development using latest and greatest design pattern (atomic/modular design or singleton/factory design) for custom solution and third party integration
+ Suggest alternative technical solutions to meet business requirements more efficiently and/or with greater reusability and/or long term solution
+ Experience and exposure in agile methodologies
+ Excellent communication skills and customer relationship building skills
Technical Skills
+ Strong hands on experience of AEM Components, editable Templates, Client Libraries, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing, Tagging, Campaigns, Analytics and Targeting
+ Experience/understanding with third party integrations e.g. Search Integrations, Authentication Handlers, Web services Integrations
+ Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using AEM, Search, eCommerce and/or other platforms.
+ Good understanding of AEM capabilities including Multi-site manager and Blueprinting, and the use of Online marketing components such as advanced targeting/ personalization, and multi-variate testing.
+ Should have work on AEM multi-tenant solutions and delivered it
+ Should have conducted code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used
+ Having one or more of the following certifications is a plus. AEM Developer, Adobe AEM Advanced developer is plus
+ Experience working with E-Commerce platforms is a plus (e.g. Magento, SalesForce Commerce Cloud etc.)
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science /engineering
Experience
+ Overall 3+ years of experience in delivering enterprise solutions
+ Minimum 2+ years of experience developing with AEM Touch UI(version 6.4 and higher, As a Cloud Service will be preferred)
+ Minimum 2+ years solution designing & executing AEM sites build:
+ Editable Template
+ Touch UI Components (React/Sightly/JSP/Java/Angular)
+ Servlet, Services, Third Party Integration
+ Server side caching build (symphony, EHcache etc…)
+ Atomic design
+ Client libraries (jQuery/ES6 etc)
+ Sling models exposure
+ Experience and content fragment
+ Context Hub and campaign
+ Context aware configuration (OSGI configuration)
+ Styling system/Multitenant architecture
+ MSM (Blueprint, Live copy, Language copy)
+ Front end and server side debugging and fixing issue
+ Performance improvement and SEO debugging and tracking
+ Experience with targeting tools like (Adobe Target or double click etc…) will be plus
+ Experience with Analytics tools like (google analytics or adobe analytics) will be plus
+ Experience with Tagging system like (google tag manager or adobe launch) will be plus
+ Experience with eCommerce platform like Magento will be plus
+ Experience with integrating SalesForce will be plus
+ Experience with integrating Product management system will be plus
+ Experience utilizing BitBucket, GitHub, Jira and Confluence
+ Experience with cloud offerings as a hosting platform
+ Experience on CI/CD process
+ Experience in integration with GDPR
+ Broad web and digital knowledge with an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
