ASSOCIATE ANALYST, CONSTRUCTION OPS
Position Summary The Associate Construction Operations Analyst is part of the Store Development Department and will report directly to the Sr. Construction Operations Analyst. The position is an integral part of the Construction Support Team and will help to build, update, and maintain all reports and dashboards for the Construction team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with taking ownership of data driven reports and working with a variety of data sources. This position will also assist in process improvement tool building and implementation. The Associate Construction Operations Analyst should possess either advanced or intermediate Microsoft excel skill-level. And, have beginner skill-level or a desire to learn more advanced analytical software (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Microsoft BI, etc.) is preferred. The candidate should have great attention to detail and strong communication skills. The goal is to provide the company with accurate, up to date information that will assist in operations and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities Key responsibilities fall into the following categories: • Report Building, Updating, and Maintaining o Maintain the delivery of daily and weekly reports to a variety of teams, which include Senior Level Management. o Update existing reports to provide clearer and up to date information to the necessary teams. o Create reports ad hoc as requested by Director of Construction or other Store Development Management • Dashboard Generation and Maintenance o Assist in the development and maintenance of both Construction and Store Development dashboards to provide high level visibility into the functions of these groups o Maintain data connections and pipeline that feeds these dashboards and reports • Process Improvement o Assist in the creation and implementation of Process Improvement tools and processes. o Works closely with both the Sr. Construction Operations Analyst and Construction Process Improvement Manager to understand and improve existing Construction and Store Development processes. Education and/or Experience • Diploma plus two to four years industry specific experience or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. Data Science, Data analytics, business analytics, statistics, mathematics plus zero to two years related industry experience. • Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 tools specifically Planner, Power Automate, Power Apps and Forms a major plus. • Intermediate or Advanced Excel skills required. • Beginner skill-level or a desire to learn more advanced analytical software (e.g., Alteryx Tableau, Microsoft BI, etc.) is preferred.
