Associate Analyst

This role is part of a development program focused on comprehensive, on-the-job training, leadership development workshops, mentoring and personalized guidance to help the Associates navigate their professional development. The job purpose of the Associate Analyst is to support the identification and development of improvement opportunities and utilize data analytics to help drive operational excellence in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with evaluations that address areas of concern relative to the department/ division goals, performance objectives, and impact of a variety of operation, financial, and managerial programs, in conformance with company policies and procedures or sound business practicesConduct data analysis to support operational decisions and strategy developmentPrepare reports and summaries of key findings for meetings and presentationsSupports functional team leaders with operations initiativesWork closely with cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure alignment on operational goalsUse data and analysis to evaluate trends, identify and deficienciesAnalyze/review performance data to ensure new tools, strategies and processes are aligned with objectives and are delivering business valuesProvide support with the creation and the continuous improvement of operational reports and analysisAssist with the identification of potential improvement opportunities and support program management of specific initiatives

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

Education:Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aviation Management, Operations Research, Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Skills:Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Organizational skills and ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated capacity to manage tasks and projects with minimal supervision.Solid interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and initiative

Masters Degree in: Data Analytics, Business Management, a quantitative discipline, or related area of studyAviation background: Having knowledge of aircraft fleets, airport operations, and airline operations.Multitasking: Experience managing multiple tasks or priorities simultaneously.Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with diverse teams, including operational staff, and management.Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and dynamic situations typical in NOC environments.Data querying (SQL, Python, etc.), Data visualization (Spotfire, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.), Data analytics, Statistics, Public speaking/Presentation building (Powerpoint)

The base pay range for this role is $52,725.00 to $71,8300.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
