This role is in Lake Forest, CA and expected to be 5 days onsite in office. 

As an Associate Attorney, you will play a key role in managing civil litigation defense cases across various practice areas, including Employment and Labor Law, General Litigation, Business Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant disputes, Contracts/Commercial matters, and Employment Law. Your ability to build and maintain client relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You'll do!

Case Management: Handle all phases of civil litigation defense, from inception through trial, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.Legal Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.Client Interaction: Maintain and cultivate client relationships by providing regular updates, legal advice, and ensuring client satisfaction.Court Appearances: Represent clients in court, including pre-trial hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.Document Preparation: Prepare and review legal reports, contracts, briefs, and other documentation.Settlement Negotiation: Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, aiming for favorable outcomes while minimizing costs and risks.Team Collaboration: Work closely with Partners and other team members to strategize and execute case plans effectively.

You Bring! 

JD from an ABA-accredited law school.2+ years of experience in civil litigation defense.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to manage litigation cases from inception to resolution.Experience in any of the following areas is a plus: Employment and Labor Law, Personal Injury, Premises Liability, Product Liability, Construction Defects, Landlord/Tenant, Contracts/Commercial, and General Litigation.
