Associate Attorney – M&A

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Associate with 5+ years of experience in M&A to join the team in the Manhattan, New York office. Our client is a law firm that is globally recognized for their international business law work, and known for their quality, collaboration, and innovation. In their tax group, their attorneys represent multinational corporations on cross-border transactions and business operations. The team offers their expertise from across different practice areas, including real estate, M&A, securities, and more. We are seeking individuals who has a strong academic background and come from reputable Big Law firms.
The firm is currently looking for a mid to senior-level associate (5-7 years) specializing in private equity and M&A to join their vibrant corporate group in New York. They are in search of an attorney with substantial experience in private equity and M&A deals, including advising private equity and institutional clients on buyout transactions, co-investments, joint ventures, co-sponsor transactions, and add-on acquisitions.
They are seeking an attorney capable of independently overseeing transactions with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent client service orientation, and possessing a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar.5-7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.The firm offers a hybrid working model and a handsome benefits package such as a 401k match, health insurance for you and the dependent and bonuses.
