Description We are on the search for an Associate Attorney to join our team in Oakland, California. This role is centered around various areas of law, including Unlawful Detainer, Employment, and Family Law. As an Associate Attorney, you will handle all aspects of litigation and interact with clients regularly. Responsibilities: • Engage in all phases of litigation, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently • Draft legal documents such as motions and pleadings, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with legal standards • Manage cases using Case Management Software, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all proceedings • Utilize skills in Employment Law to provide legal advice and representation • Handle client interactions, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise • Administer complaints, working towards swift and effective resolutions • Use Adobe Acrobat and 3M for document management and other related tasks • Implement skills in Civil Litigation and Claim Administration, providing comprehensive legal services • Leverage knowledge in Consumer Electronics and Conveyancer for specific cases when necessary • Conduct briefing sessions to update the team on case progress and next steps. Requirements • Position requires an Associate Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. • Proficiency in using 3M and Adobe Acrobat is mandatory. • Experience with Case Management Software is required. • Familiarity with Conveyancer software is essential. • Must have strong skills in Document Management. • The candidate should be adept at Briefing. • Experience in Civil Litigation is required. • The role requires skills in Claim Administration. • Proficiency in Complaint Handling is necessary. • Knowledge of Consumer Electronics is a plus. • Experience in Employment Law is essential.
