Description We are in the business of real estate litigation and are located in San Francisco, California. Our team is currently in need of an Associate Attorney. As part of the team, you will be handling cases from initiation to conclusion, making court appearances, and getting trained in San Francisco housing law. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage multiple cases from beginning to end • Draft legal pleadings for various matters • Conduct thorough law and motion practices • Respond efficiently to discovery requests and draft responses • Appear in court for hearings, settlement conferences, and trial calls • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success for our clients • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of San Francisco housing law • Demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills • Exhibit excellent research and writing skills • Multitask independently and manage time effectively Requirements • Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar. • Demonstrable experience or willingness to learn Unlawful Detainer cases. • Excellent legal research and writing skills. • Ability to handle multiple cases with varying levels of complexity. • Proficiency in using legal software for case management. • Exceptional negotiation skills for settlements outside of court. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, other attorneys, and court officials. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
