0-1 years experience

Entry level biomed technician role with a focus on testing and completing minor service to medical devices.

Must have 0-1 years experience and/or willingness to learn the process of diagnosing and ultimately servicing various biomedical devices.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 PM

Preferred biomedical associates degree, similar healthcare technology management degree, biomedical related military experience, vocational certification, related experience in medical device repair, or experience with biomedical programming/use. Vocational certification needs to be issued from an Accredited Certificate Program.

An entry-level, or associate, biomedical technician can perform tests and cosmetic maintenance on a wide variety of biomedical devices.   Must demonstrate ability, aptitude or willingness to learn troubleshooting skills on medical devices.

Preferred experience includes those that have attended OEM training and/or on the job training on various medical devices. Performs service on those devices and displays strong technical competency and productivity.

Associate Biomedical Technician is expected to participate in business growth and productivity improvement initiatives, as well as demonstrate boundaryless teamwork and assist in any function and/or role within the Biomed Center.
