Associate Brand Manager, Fem Care

Position Summary:

The Associate Brand Manager will be an integral member of the Fem BU marketing team and play a key role in driving the overarching strategy for the Carefree & Stayfree brands. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the Brand Manager in the planning, development, and implementation of 360, full-funnel marketing plans to enhance the growth and profitability of the brand. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and ability to manage multiple tasks. This position provides a rare opportunity for an associate manager to gain in-depth experience with brand positioning and commercialization strategies.

 

Accountabilities:

Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive annual marketing plans to steward iconic brands and achieve stated business objectives Assist in development of compelling brand communications including digital video, static, paid social, influencer content, brand integrations, and A+ content Champion the target consumer, brand positioning, and brand voice throughout the organization Develop and manage A&P budget; provide regular updates of spending versus budget and ensure P&L is accurate and reflects any significant deviances from plan Support the annual strategic and business planning processes by assessing the market, evaluating past program performance, building marketing plans and identifying key goals and objectives Ensure consistency of visual brand identity across all consumer touchpoints including product, packaging, communications, etc. Assist in briefing, developing, executing plans with multiple agencies, and in-house creative team monitoring progress, approving/providing feedback where necessary, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Plan, Manage, and support promotional calendar partnering with internal and external partners to execute offers and measure in market execution Effectively synthesize data from multiple sources to identify issues, opportunities, and insights and make recommendations for optimizing plans Measure and evaluate marketing activities to determine ROI and effectiveness of activity; identify key issues impacting brand volume performance and recommend potential solutions Initiate or support market research projects to deliver powerful consumer and customer insights as the basis for long-term brand growth; develop these insights into actionable plans Process owner for creative development, testing, artwork and sales samples in addition to overseeing packaging changes Partner closely with Sales to identify opportunities to expand the business in existing channels of trade Communicate brand strategies, plans, and innovations to the sales organization for them to translate into compelling selling stories Champions and represents EPC’s core values: People First, Moving Forward, Own It Together, Listen Up Speak Up

Required Education, Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Marketing related discipline A minimum of 2+ years CPG experience having directly supported a brand in a global or commercial organization with strong analytical responsibilities

Desirable Education, Skills and Experience

Strong market awareness and familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices Knowledge and passion for Feminine Hygiene category or Personal Care categories Experience managing marketing budgets, including maintaining a finance tracker, opening purchase orders, submitting invoices when needed, and partnering with BU finance to understand changes or any discrepancies in spend. Ability to conduct competitive analysis that identifies competitor strategies, strengths and weaknesses Self-motivated and goal-oriented; possess inherent initiative, curiosity, and creative problem-solving skills Ability to recognize opportunities for improvements and proactively offer ideas for how to improve Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and build trust with team members and various key stakeholders Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects autonomously in a challenging, fast-paced environment while consistently meeting time sensitive deadlines Detail-oriented with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner across various levels of the organization Ability to influence without direct authority Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested Experience with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI, etc.) and/or other data sources (Mintel, Euromonitor, etc.)

Working Relationships

Key relationships internally will include working with other brand commercial and global marketing colleagues and cross-functional team members including Sales, Category Development, Insights, R&D, Operations, Data & Analytics, In House Creative, and Finance.  External engagement will include advertising agencies and market research partners.

The salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance.
