The Associate Brand Manager supports the development and execution of brand strategies, activation plans, budgets, and new business development (NBD) initiatives for assigned categories/brands. This role collaborates cross-functionally with key teams such as Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, DCOE, Operations, Finance, Compliance, agencies, trade partners, and suppliers to achieve business objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Strategic Brand Management:
Support the execution of strategic plans, annual marketing initiatives, activation programs, and budgets to achieve sales and profit goals for assigned categories/brands.Contribute to building assigned brands into growing, profitable consumer businesses aligned with overall company objectives.Monitor and support progress toward annual program plans, volume, profit objectives, and KPIs. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining strong supplier relations and communication.New Business Development (NBD):
Assist in conceptualizing, developing, and executing NBD opportunities that drive category and brand growth.Guide NBD projects through internal cross-functional teams and processes to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.Creative and Agency Management:
Support agency efforts in delivering efficient and effective creative solutions, including packaging, marketing materials, promotions, public relations, and media for assigned brands and projects.Performance Measurement and Analysis:
Focus efforts on high-priority BCSPs critical to achieving objectives.Utilize data tools and other resources to measure and analyze progress, identify gaps, and assist the team in developing actionable plans.Project and Process Management:
Establish and maintain clear priorities for projects, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.Facilitate progress and communicate updates using the PPT system as appropriate.Strategic Planning and Initiatives:
Contribute to strategic brand planning, new initiative development, and special projects for assigned categories/brands.Career Growth and Development:
Develop and implement an action plan to gain skills, experience, and results aligned with career goals.Leverage the CDS system to track and guide progress.Professional Development:
Utilize the PDS system and available resources to identify areas for continuous self-improvement.Regularly invest time in enhancing skills outlined in the Development Plan.Key Competencies:

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 5+ years in marketing, sales, or finance roles.Strong planning and organizational skills.Proven ability to manage and implement multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.Experience in a fast-paced environment.Strong computer skills with a high level of comfort using technology and systems.Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.Willingness to travel.Experience in implementation or project management.Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of brand management experience.Experience in the Alcohol Beverage Industry or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).Budgeting, planning, and financial analysis experience.Relevant experience in New Business Development (NBD).Experience managing an advertising agency.Physical Requirements
Valid driver's license.Ability to work remotely.Strong attention to detail.
