The Associate Broadcast Engineer position at Spectrum Networks is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team. As an Associate Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for executing and distributing live and pre-produced news and/or sports content to cable subscribers. You are an essential part of a collaborative team that produces compelling, timely, and accurate newscasts intended to engage and connect with our local audience.

Required Qualifications
Experience: Previous experience in Broadcast or Technical environment – 1+ yearsEducation: Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experienceTechnical skills: General knowledge of IP networking and cross-platform operating systems and applications, basic broadcast equipment knowledge/experience should include cameras in the field and studio, digital recording devices, video switchers (routing and/or production), audio systems and related equipmentSkills: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing circumstances and solve basic problems while demonstrating a positive attitude and positive approach, effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbilities: Learn to apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, report, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of the systems investmentSchedule: Ability to work different shifts or longer shifts due to “breaking news” and severe weather emergencies, ability to work weekends and holidaysValid driver’s license for authorized driving in the State of residencePreferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position generally is between $27.80 and $49.20. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
