Associate Broker, Cross Border Commercial- AGCN
Our Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) Cross Border Commercial team is expanding, and we are currently hiring for an Associate Broker to join our dynamic team. We focus on brokering small to middle market accounts, delivering tailored solutions to multinational clients. This is a hybrid role that requires working onsite for 2-3 days a week in the New York Office. What the day will look like · Support and collaborate with colleagues and clients on the overall multinational risk management strategy in relation to Aon’s relationship with assigned clients · Support placement of international casualty programs, including admitted policies issued in connection with the US placement · Coordinate the Aon worldwide network to the benefit of the client, including all relevant pre and post renewal activities, such as communication and delivery of policy terms and conditions, premium cash flow, establishment of Aon network work scope, and any relevant ad-hoc projects · Establish and maintain carrier relationships to the benefits of clients and prospects · Design and market small international insurance programs to carefully selected insurance markets which offer coverage and services which meet clients’ needs · Participate in new business proposal presentations to clients · Work closely with manager/team leader to promote Aon’s multinational practice · Alignment and partnership with other placing broker groups to engage on global insurance placements, as defined, to service and implement multinational insurance placements · Partnership with AGCN and office leadership, Brokers, producers and other stakeholders to effectively deliver Aon's international value proposition How this opportunity is different As an Associate Broker, you’ll play a key role in helping drive our team’s success while growing your professional expertise in the cross-border commercial sector. Skills and experience that will lead to success This individual is responsible for supporting the strategy and execution of global programs which support a portfolio of accounts in their respective regions. Working in a collaborative environment within a given account team, this individual will support in identifying their clients’ individual multinational risk strategies and corporate objectives, and ensure Aon’s engagement is aligned, such that the product and service delivery continuously meet their clients’ stated objectives. Required Experience: · Possesses superior client communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written) · The candidate will have a formal understanding of MS Suite products, including Word and Excel. · Must have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty License within 120 days of hire. Pay Transparency Laws: The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000-$80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York, NY. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
