We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Guy Carpenter. This role will be based in Dallas, Texas. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Associate brokers are responsible for supporting senior reinsurance brokers in a variety of projects.
We will count on you to:
Performs tasks related to the quoting, binding and servicing of new and renewal reinsurance placements to assist with serving clients.
Program management of internal and external by keeping senior brokers up-to-date. Assists with responding to client requests for information, coordinating with other departments as necessary, and clearing with senior brokers.
Updates more senior-level Brokers and Supervisors on issues, progress etc, regularly and upon request to assist the Broker with serving clients.
Assists in the timely production of placement submissions, including exhibits and narratives, and in tracking reinsurer underwriters progress / questions.
Maintains business relationships to better serve clients. Trains new employees and monitors workflow to ensure the group runs smoothly.
May analyze contract documents and financial statements for insurance and reinsurance entities.
What you need to have:
Reinsurance broking/analyst experience
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
Bachelor's degree
