Overview Job Purpose ICE Data Connectivity and Feeds, Inc., a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange Inc., is looking for an Associate Business Analyst join our Platform Product Group in our Atlanta Headquarters. The selected candidate will work with the product Management team based in London and New York in defining, prioritizing, planning and executing on vision across the enterprise platform suite. Our Enterprise platforms deliver financial market data to global clients across a broad set of industry segments including risk, regulatory compliance, asset management and algorithmic trading. Our purpose is to optimize the delivery of data in new, innovative ways, allowing our clients to focus on their core business challenges. The role has a broad remit requiring the successful candidate to be skilled in number of disciplines across technical, business and data analysis. We are seeking a highly organized, articulate, and results-driven individual with an insatiable curiosity to understand business needs and desire to deliver change. Responsibilities Under the guidance of the platform leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of and be responsible for: Documenting enhancements to processes, data management, and technical capabilities of the platform and its supporting functions. Deliver and execute on plans for deploying approved enhancements to processes and technologies that support the overall suite of platform products Become the subject matter expert across internal tools, datasets and external platforms that support the Platform Product Proactively identifying and documenting undocumented capabilities across the product suite Supporting the product management team in go to market activities as required, including but not limited to developing presentations, training and demonstration materials and tools Knowledge and Experience Previous experience as a technical Business Analyst or Associate Product Manager Excellent communication skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must have excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to supervise, organize, prioritize workload and work on numerous projects/tasks at one time Must be a self-starter able to take ownership of tasks drive projects through to completion Must be comfortable working with and presenting to a broad base of internal and external clients at different seniority levels Experience and understanding of the construction of various structured document formats such as XML and JSON, as well as integration technologies such as Python, .NET, C++ and Java High level understanding of data communication protocols - e.g. HTTPS, TCP Sockets and Web Sockets. Knowledge and experience of scripting languages for the transformation of data, e.g. Python, SQL, PowerQuery, or advanced use of Excel and VBA Exposure to and interest in market data and finance industry, and technology Ability to work with technical teams (QA and development) as well as sales and end users Software: Jira, Visio (or other diagraming tool), MS Office Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) or exposure to Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical discipline Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
