Associate Business Analyst

Overview Job Purpose The AllRegs Business Analyst conducts research and analysis to support business operations within the AllRegs product line. This role collaborates with internal teams to resolve complex business issues, designs and optimizes business processes, and publishes business metrics specific to the AllRegs platform. Working closely with the Product Manager, the analyst drives improvements, leads initiatives, and influences strategic decision-making with a focus on high-impact problem-solving. The AllRegs Business Analyst operates with a high degree of autonomy and subject matter expertise. Responsibilities Strategic Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to resolve complex business challenges related to the AllRegs product. Process Improvement: Analyze and redesign business processes within AllRegs to improve efficiency and effectiveness, focusing on medium to large, high-impact changes. Project Leadership: Own medium to large projects within the AllRegs product line, managing them from research through implementation and monitoring. Ensure alignment with overall product goals in collaboration with the Product Manager. Increased Autonomy: Make independent decisions on business operations and process improvements with broad implications for the platform, operating with minimal supervision. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., development, marketing, compliance) to resolve multi-faceted business issues. Subject Matter Expertise: Develop expertise in specific areas of the AllRegs platform and serve as a key resource for insights and process optimization. Data-Driven Solutions: Leverage systems and data to address business issues and provide actionable recommendations. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports for management, including financial and P&L analyses, project findings, and business process improvements. JIRA Management: Create and manage user stories in JIRA to document requirements, track progress, and communicate development needs. Strategic Recommendations: Provide regular recommendations to enhance the AllRegs platform, drawing from best practices and industry insights. Perform other related duties as required within the scope of the AllRegs product. Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience is required Experience in mortgage regulatory compliance and/or financial services is preferred Experience writing user stories Requires 3+ years of experience in analytics and/or problem-solving roles, with a strong background in business analysis and process improvement Knowledge of AllRegs products and services is preferred Understanding of general business operations, especially related to regulatory requirements in mortgage and financial services, is helpful Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., MS Office) and tools like Visio Experience with Miro, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Excellent communication skills tailored to various levels within the organization Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results Schedule This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
