We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Business Analyst within our Global eCommerce Strategy Organization with a strong focus on market intelligence and business analysis to support major business investments and strategic planning initiatives, shaping the strategic direction of Lenovo’s digital growth. This role will be critical in providing data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to help shape the company’s investment decisions and long-term growth strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret market data, assess competitive trends, and evaluate financial and operational data to benchmark business performance. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
Gather and analyze market data to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and customer behaviors Conduct in-depth competitive benchmarking to assess market positioning and identify opportunities for differentiation Monitor economic, regulatory, and technological changes that could impact business operations and growth Provide recommendations on potential market risks and opportunities based on intelligence gatheredBusiness Analysis & Investment Support
Collaborate with geo and functional teams (operations, marketing, user experience) to assess the financial and strategic viability of potential investments Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting tools, and business cases to evaluate investment opportunities Assist in the creation of business plans and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholdersData Collection & Reporting
Collect and synthesize data from primary and secondary sources, including surveys, interviews, market reports, and publicly available financial data Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate key insights to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format Ensure accuracy and consistency in all data-driven reports and analysisStrategic Planning Support
Provide analytical support for the development of annual and long-term business strategies, ensuring alignment with market conditions and business objectives Collaborate with internal teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure that business plans are based on data-driven insights Conduct trend analysis and scenario planning to inform strategic decision-makingStakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
Communicate complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and facilitating decision-making Support strategic meetings and provide ad-hoc analytical insights to help steer business discussions Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making across the organizationRequired Qualifications:
2 years of full-time relevant work experience Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative fieldPreferred Qualifications: PhD in a quantitative field with no full-time, relevant work experience Demonstrated passion for technology and/or experience in the personal technology industry Familiarity with market research methodologies, data analysis techniques, and competitive intelligence gathering Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable insights Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques, including Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization software Flexible, ambitious, and a team player focused on delivering results for the bigger picture Ability to work flexible hours to support the global responsibilities of the role
